Dracula’s Children

A young vampire returns to the city where his family resides and unleashes chaos, revealing the true origin of Dracula.

Lucas, a young vampire, returns to the city where his mother, Mina Harker, resides. His impulsive slaughter of three girls at a sorority house sparks a police investigation, threatening the peace and anonymity cherished by his vampire family. Meanwhile, Elizabeth, an ambitious journalist, becomes romantically entangled with Jacob, the vampire she’s interviewing. Complicating matters further, Jacob’s ex-lover, Dante—another vampire—crosses paths with Kenji, a college student, at a nightclub once frequented by Lucas and discovers Kenji is the son of one of his former human lovers.

Rejected by Jacob, Elizabeth’s fascination turns into obsession, and she begins stalking the vampire group. Simultaneously, Dante develops feelings for Kenji and, despite his reservations, falls in love with him. Mina reluctantly takes Lucas under her wing, but his alienation from his family drives him to a tragic suicide by sunlight.

Elizabeth’s obsession costs her her job when she publishes her interview with Jacob on her personal blog. In the throes of love, Dante turns Kenji into a vampire, hoping to share eternity together. However, Elizabeth’s downward spiral takes a violent turn—she murders Dante, consumes his blood, and injects herself with the essence of vampiric immortality.

Jacob rescues the newly-turned Kenji from the morgue, only to break the devastating news of Dante’s death. Now a vampire herself, Elizabeth becomes an unstoppable force, driven by vengeance against both humans and vampires. With chaos threatening to consume the city, Mina steps in to confront the threat. In doing so, she reveals her hidden past: she was once Bram Stoker’s lover and the inspiration behind the legendary character of Dracula.
